Joseph Nderitu

Joseph is a Director with Integrated Risk Services specializing in revenue assurance and fraud management. He has 10 years of experience in various telecommunications companies.

Joseph was previously Executive Head of Revenue Assurance and Fraud Management at Vodacom Mozambique. His duties included defining and implementing the revenue assurance/fraud management scope and coverage, designing controls, managing the automation projects, recruiting and training specialists and engaging with senior management in Mozambique and Group Offices to tackle the emerging challenges in revenue assurance and fraud management.

Joseph has also worked as regional audit manager for 17 Airtel Africa operations specifically managing the audits in the areas of revenue assurance, sales and distribution processes, marketing & brand management, and customer service. He also led project risk advisories ensuring that the company was proactive in managing risks in the various multi-functional and multi-country projects. – He started his revenue assurance career at Safaricom Kenya, where he progressively rose from analyst to senior manager in charge of revenue assurance, having served various stints as product assurance analyst, senior billing assurance analyst and billing and network integrity manager. During this period, he managed key projects such as implementation of the test call generator, upgrading the revenue assurance system, deploying SIM box detection system and commencing revenue assurance analytics for M-PESA.

Joseph holds MSc degree in Information Systems from University of Nairobi. He has also undertaken various courses in revenue assurance and fraud management, advanced data analysis, enterprise risk management and wireless intelligent networks. He also holds PRINCE2 Foundation certification.
