Hildah Nduati
Hildah is a Director with Integrated Risk Services specializing in information systems assurance, internal audit analyt- ics and cyber risk management. She has 15 years of experience in multiple industries including telecommunications and the financial services sector.
Hildah was previously a Director at Ernst & Young (EY) where she was responsible for the Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) service line in East Africa. Her duties included business development, service delivery and ensuring sustainable growth of the business. In EY Hildah was involved in providing various services to clients including Risk Transformation Services, Information Technology Risk Assurance and Information Security Reviews.
Hildah has multi-pronged experience in the information assurance domain. She was the Head of Information Systems Audit in Safaricom Limited where she was charged with providing assurance on information security matters in the organization. She set up the Information Systems Audit function in 2005 and subsequently grew this function into a department responsible for providing assurance to Executive Management and the Board Audit Committee on the adequacy of controls in the Technology Infrastructure.
In Safaricom, some of the key projects that Hildah was responsible for included the rollout of a companywide continuous auditing and monitoring system, pre implementation reviews of several billing platforms and customer relationship management platforms. In addition, Hildah led the risk management team that provided assurance in the pre implementation review of M-PESA, the world’s first mobile money trans- fer system.
Hildah holds a BSc. Degree in Computer Science and is currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in Cyber Security Policy and Compliance at the George Washington University (USA).
Hildah is also a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC). She is also a PRINCE2 Practitioner and an IIA Certified Quality Assurance Reviewer (QAR). In addition Hildah is an expert user of ACL (Audit Command Language) and Caseware IDEA.
